Drawing is one of the most important activities children can do, as it not only provides the basis for other creative activities like painting, print-making, and sculpture; it also provides a direct link with reading, writing, and especially mathematics as children think, plan and learn to solve visual art problems.

It is proven that early exposure to visual art promotes activity in the brain. Art nurtures inventiveness as it engages children in processes that aid in the development if self-discipline, self-motivation and problem-solving.

Being actively involved in art helps children gain tools needed to develop understanding for adapting to, and respecting others' ways of working and expressing themselves.
